Ann Wicker

Ann Wicker was a writer and editor in the newspaper and magazine business for many years. A graduate of Davidson College, Ann also has an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte.
She edited Making Notes: Music of the Carolinas, a nonfiction anthology idea she took to Novello Festival Press. Ann has been a presenter and panelist at several book festivals, and her work has appeared in anthologies and other publications.
As an editor and writing coach, she has worked with many writers on a wide variety of novels and memoirs. She collaborated with Ann Moses on Moses' memoir, Meow! My Groovy Life with Tiger Beat's Teen Idols.
She is married to Mark Williams, former chief engineer at Reflection Sound Studios in Charlotte and a freelance producer/engineer.
